Hello! My name is Rachel. I am a Chemist by trade but a life-long learner at heart. I am fond of exploring new things and tend to bounce from one hobby to the next without finding a grounding point. Yet some things do stick with me as overarching themes. I love to learn and when there is nothing more to learn and I feel I have mastered it – I am done. I started this page to allow me to further share my love of learning and teaching. Nothing brings me greater happiness than to help others learn, grow and evolve.
I love to “pick” fun things and sell them online, sell and raise rare tropical plants and just recently (June 2023) have started exploring my creativity through digital art and watercolor.
The picture above is me in June 2021 when I first received my Alocasia Antoro Velvet. A truly rare and gorgeous plant to behold. The only Alocasia species with hairy leaves.
